Taggenbrunn and Hochosterwitz are particularly lovely. Taggenbrunn has been restored extensively during the past years and has a history going back until the twelfth century. The impressive vineyard Taggenbrunn in the middle of an idyllic hilly landscape, is worth seeing.

Carinthia’s capital town with almost 100.000 habitants is also called the jewel of Renaissance. The Italian architectonical style in the historic centre with the oldest Austrian pedestrian area, many squares and picturesque courtyards, is omnipresent.
